  • Indoor Putting Surface Thoughts

Hi - looking to add a putting surface to my ST golf sim setup. Doesn’t need to work with ST - just want a good/relatively true putting surface to practice putting.

Looking at the BirdieBall product ( https://www.birdieball.com ) and would like some input on your experience with this or other products. Looking for an 8’ W x 10’ L - approximate size and want to stay under $1K. Would like something middle of the road speed wise and ability to add some slight undulation.

    Thanks in advance.

Hey MackDivot - that's a good choice... I've been watching that site for some time. If you can wait they may have a pretty good Black Friday sale coming up, and I know for sure they also have a good sale during Master's week (but that's 6 months out).

Let us know how it works out for you?

Thanks for your input. I’m thinking I’m going with that.

Birdieball surfaces roll real nice but they are super delicate. I don't know about the new outdoor surface but the indoor ones are basically foam. Getting nicks in it is super easy and it will leave behind foot prints for a short while. Kinda like a super soft green. It will rebound just be aware.

Bottom line - if you have kids or pets I wouldn't recommend it. If not, might be good for you.

Birdie Ball has a great roll at first but bring foam it’s delicate. Find a good synthetic turf and it will last forever indoors.
