  • Fiberbuilt mat too easy to hit off of?

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I kind of like my sim to be 'tough' because the goal is to get better for the real world. I had a gel insert with some carpet and 1/8" plastic in my hitting area. I was freaking tough to hit on, if you it it heavy even in the slightest you were severely punished.

However that mat was taking a toll on my hands/knuckles. I just installed a fiberbuilt hitting area since it's easiest on the body. I have to say it's so easy to hit off of, I worry that it doesn't simulate real life at all.

Just curious why everyone is so against CCE? I have had one for almost a year now and have not had any issues. I like that it can take a tee and it definitely penalizes you on fat shots. Anything I should be looking out for?

Im probably older than you and maybe I hit wayyyyy more balls than you do. CCE I hit on it for 3 years. Tendinitis, wrist and back pain. If you hit an iron on it and hit outdoors taking a divot you will find that cce turf interaction and resistance is nothing like the outdoors divot. I believe that is why you here this common complaint over and over again about injuries and cce. In the short haul no problems but over time it will catch up with you IMO.
