  • Anyone use the Gorilla perfect relation golf mats?

They get good reviews online. A 4’x 5’ is only $189 with shipping on Amazon That’s half the $$ of Country Club Elite and about 1/3 of a Fiberbuilt. Have any of you used it? I’m looking at using it with my new SkyTrak.

I use that mat in my garage with a SkyTrak. It works fine but is a little hard on the elbows. I added 3/4” thick foam tiles under it to cushion the impact a bit.

I have two of those 3 x 5s to accommodate both right and left handed players stances. Lefties play with the skytrak between feet and ball...works great and they get used to it. LOL. Anyway, hitting from the same spot since June 2016 and there is no wear showing but long tees are gripped less securely. I've yet to turn the mat to get a fresh tee. With two mats, four potential tee spots, I guess these mats will last a long time. Mine are the cheaper ones with only the urethane backing...they are heavy and over an inch thick. I think they're close to the CCE mat. Any interaction between the club and mat will slow the club speed (so take a divot beyond the ball). I am suspicious that the mat may actually drag on a well struck ball and slow it some. A fat shot will be felt. For the price, they're priceless. Love 'em!

Thanks for the info guys. I just ordered the 4x5. It should be here in a week. I’ll post again after I give it a try.

I have a perfect Reaction and it's great, was more than 189 though, so could be a different MFG. The one I have is endorsed by MArtin Hall from Golf Channel. I have a durabilt one as well but the ReAction is much better.

I received the mat a couple days ago from Amazon. It’s fantastic. For $189, it’s a steal. Just my opinion.
