  • Would anyone like to split a turf purchase?

I am looking to pick up some kind of padded turf to place in between my screen and my hitting mat. Not looking to spend a lot ($2/sq ft or under would be ideal), and most of the places I check have minimum orders. For example this product from TFD requires a minimum length of 15 feet with predetermined width: https://turffactorydirect.com/produc...n-special-5mm/

I don't know if its practical due to shipping weight, but would anyone be interested in splitting a purchase? I'd buy enough for the both of us, cut what I need, then ship the rest out. Can figure out the specifics if anyone is actually interested. I'd be buying in February.

Alternatively if you know of a product that fits what I am looking for without needing a split, feel free to let me know that as well. Thanks!

Might be easier to split if someone is in your area

@caleras i'd check out your local menards/ home depot/ lowe's before purchasing any turf just to see if marine carpeting might work for you. It's cheap and mine rolls true and at a 10 stimp, can buy in almost any color too.

Thanks Jerry. It's more about the padding to quiet down the drops off the screen. Believe it or not even the cheap carpet padding at home depot is like $80 because they make you buy humongous rolls, so it ends up being comparable price wise as long as youre not going too large with the putting area.

      Keep the interest coming!

Jerry, do you remember the Menard’s SKU for the carpet you bought?

I used something similar to this looks decent and is padded so ball lands nice and silently on it. I bought 3 packs and stacked them on top of each other and glued them and it sits at an even height with my cce mat. When I put it rolls right off cce on to foam mats smoothly.
