  • Rubber frame to go with Quattro mat?

Just bought a SkyTrak and Net Return Home Series so the final piece to the puzzle is a range mat to hit off.

Im based in the UK so don’t have all the same options as you guys in the US but I’ve found a UK distributor of the Quattro mat so think I am going to buy one of them.

    The reviews sound great.

The distributor has also recommended a frame for the mat to provide a bit of protection and to prevent the mat sliding around whilst in use. I will be interchanging between playing indoors and outdoors (ie I won’t be installing the set up in one fixed place) so this sounds a good idea - has anyone used a frame for their mat?

The two options they have are:

The Imax Matkeeper is an inexpensive way to finish your golf driving range mat. Drainage holes and durable rubber material helps preserve your range mats.

Any advice? Would they be useful or is it a bit overkill and therefore a waste of money?

Interlocking exercise mats with some type of tape, carpet tape or something that can secure the mats together might be a cheaper option if you're concerned about it moving, but I thought the Quattro mat had a rubber back to help prevent this
