  • Is Fibertuilt strip lower than the stance mat portion?

I am strongly considering pulling the trigger on a 4' X 9' center strip mat from Fiberbuilt. It just seems like the best solution for the righty/lefty issue with Skytrak.

To me, the picture on the website make it appear as though the hitting strip is 1/8" to 1/4" below the stance portion. Does anyone have one of these (or one like it from Fiberbuilt) that can confirm that the hitting strip is the same height as the stance mat?

    Thank you!

I had the 6'x4' mat and they were the same height. I believe they all are. For some other mats I bought rubber sheets to make it flush... I paid about $25-30...

Thank you for the input. I assumed they would be the same height but the picture sure doesn't illustrate that very well. The rubber sheets is a great work around just in case. Thanks again!

I have the 4x9 FiberBuilt Studio mat, the height difference are negligible at best. The stance area have a slight give and you'll end up about even with the hitting surface.

Thank you for commenting. It seems like it's going to be the one to get...4X9 is perfect. Have a great day!

I also have a 4x9 studio mat and can confirm the insert is level with the stance mats:
