Does anyone own this mat? Specifically

1) Positives
2) Negatives
3) Longevity of the mat
4) How does it compare to the CCE mat? More or less forgiving on the body? How does it treat fat shots?

I have an update on this mat and company.

I noticed that their Canadian office is fairly close to where I live so I decided to head out there and test out the different products.

I tried out two of their products, specifically the country club tee and the champion mat.

Both are very nice and look like high quality. The country club tee I believe would be comparable to the CCE mat as it has a little bit of grab, but only if you hit a real fat shot.

The champion mat was more for me as it had less grab, but it would not be like the Fiberbuilt where the ball is on a fluffy lie. Very good compromise. The stance feels a little squishy, but I am much more focused on the longevity of my body. Zero chance that the mat moves underneath when I hit the ball.

I will end up going with a 8x5 champion mat. The owner Desmond was very kind and is helping me use their putting greens and adding foam to make everything level for my setup.

I’ll follow up with updates after many rounds, but I think this company deserves a mention on the board as an alternative to other mats.

I had no shipping so they quoted me $800 CAD for that.

That's not bad at all for a good quality mat that size.

I have a Tartan Advantage GT mat and I had terrible elbow pain after a couple of weeks of using it. I switched to Fiberbuilt and haven't had elbow pain since.

Local range here uses tartan mats. It’s very high quality, Equal or better than anything out there but it is grabby and I would never own one for fear of long term joint pain. I think it’s designed more for durability than comfort.
