  • Flooring question.

I am waiting for projector and my fiberbuilt studio mat. I laid 5/8” foam down on bare concrete. I have cheap outdoor turf. I’d like to get the wrinkles out of it and make it snug. Ii’m wondering if 3m double sided tape would work. Any other ideas ? Once I get this flattened out I will cut out a section for the fiberbuilt mat. Thanks!

Have you considered Carpet Glue? Or does it need to ever come up again?

do you think that setup could work instead of stance mat? i was just going to use a hitting strip and then that setup as the stance mat, but afraid the carpet would move or pull up in spots.

I bought 2 rolls of 3m double sided tape. Hoping this works. It doesn’t need to come up again so maybe carpet glue would be another option. As far as it working as a stance mat... maybe. It feels pretty good on the feet. Not to soft.
interestingly, when I dropped a golf ball from chest height it bounced around 3 feet on the outdoor carpet. When I bounced it on the outdoor carpet with the foam underneath it bounced about 2-2/12 feet. Not much difference and the sound was only slightly less with the foam.
