  • Grizzly Grass Menards

Anyone ever used the grizzly grass from Menards for just a land area?

I haven't laid it down formally yet (still building out my updated setup), but purchased the same product from Lowes off the roll. Home Depot also sells it (not stocked and higher price). If you haven't seen it / touched it, you might want to as it is very thin and felt like. I have tested it with some padding underneath and it works fine for stopping the balls coming off the screen/net. It gives a consistent look and it even works for putting for me also once flattened out. For the price it is filling my need and covers a large area cheaply.

Considering this turf also for rebounds and to carpet rest of room except for hitting area and a putting strip. Will use a better turf in a “T” configuration for a stance & putting mat with a Quattro insert which is 1.25” thick. Want to keep all three Surfaces the same level. Has anyone used foam insulation board on concrete under synthetic turf?

It is sufficient to reduce bounce. Probably the lowest cost solution available for landing mat and padding. Works well for my situation
