  • Where to buy your mats?

I've read so many threads, and have done a little of my own research as I have a CCE and am hurting (shoulder pain).
I've decided to get a new 5x5 full mat (no inserts) and want the Quattro (or mat of many names just like it).
Just got off the phone with Purcha$eGr33n and said on top of their $299 mat... shipping (to a residence vs business) would cost me $200 to get from California to the midwest. Ouch.

**Forum/friends, where can I get this type of mat (Quattro) at a reasonable price (including shipping)???

Caveat: don't want to wait 2 weeks for it to come from China.
Where you have purchased in the past may not pertain now (prices change), but I am looking for serious leads. Thanks,

Have you tried Wittek directly yet?

Having email conversations with them now. This is my go-to, but feel their pricing is presently higher. Hence my question on the forum for other options.

Emailed Wittek. They responded and gave me the updated cost+shipping. I called them and did a direct order.
Getting the Quattro and can't wait for my shoulder to start feeling better.

get a price from a rep on this stuff. It is really good and not that expensive
    https://synthetic-turf.com/products/...-greens/eztee/

    I have had this and quattro and I actually prefer the tee line. It is installed in a lot of big name courses.;

    just a few

Thanks for the suggestion but I already have a mat very similar to EZTee and it is killing my shoulder due to the contact. I could invest in special carpet padding under this mat, but am really looking for the exact features offered by a Quattro-like mat.

I have a Quattro also. If the ez tee is leading to shoulder issues then the Quattro is not going to be any better.

If you are comparing this to CCE it is nothing like it. Cce is very squishy. The ez tee is firmer with very little grab to it. You might be able to ask for a place it is installed to hit some shots and experience it yourself. They are installed in many places and likely one is close to you.

I ordered mine from Wittek back in April. I'm actually in California and the price for Wittek to ship it all the way across the country to me was cheaper than Purchase Green's price to ship to me fairly locally.

One thing I will say is that I was pretty disappointed in the way Wittek packaged it. They FOLDED it in half to fit into a narrow box to save on shipping costs. It took a solid month for my mat to flatten out completely after unboxing and to this day the bottom foam layer hasn't reformed completely.

I guess the moral of this story is ask them all how they plan to package it, and pay a little extra for the best packaging.

Great feedback and I did NOT inquire about this. It was expected to be shipped today... so I emailed them and asked about shipping options based on feedback regarding the crease in the mat.

Had to go look and do a little research. fwiw, https://www.quattromat.com/product-page/kit has it for $399 and free shipping.

This is why I started this topic, to get this information. Thank you for the link. Unfortunately for me it might be too late. I already ordered through Wittek.
Working...
