  • Cutting a CCE Matt

Wondering what you gentleman use to cut a CCE mat. I am thinking a circular or table saw with a tile or masonry blade? I would like to have a pretty straight edge if possible.

Oscillating multi-tool, I used one of the plunge blades (think its called) it cut right through it no problem.

After you cut was the edge straight or did the fibers bloom over the edge like the sides of the mat do from the factory? I want to butt 2 together and have a little bit of a v shaped depression where they meet right now. I used scissors to cut the bloom but still feel I could do better with the butt joint.

The fibers bloom over the edge, I cut the cce mat originally to use with the optishot before i had the skytrak. cutting the mat was easy but then also had to use scissors to trim back the fibers so their was a clear opening for the leds of the optishot.

I used a razor blade and just cut it a few times. takes a while but works.

Are you cutting this to a different size or replacing a hitting area? I've had my CCE for a couple years but the main hitting area is getting worn down. Debating switching to a fiberbuilt so I can change out the hitting areas when they get worn

My sim folds to the wall and I needed to cut it at the bend.
