I am looking to build a "runner of sorts between my Mevo and the Fiberbuilt hitting mat. I have a 9'x6' Fiberbuilt hitting mat. I would like to build a 3'Wx6'L runner to place the Mevo on. Since my set up needs to be moved regularly, I figured the best way is by having a piece of plywood cut to 3' x 6' and then laying some foam on top of it, and some astroturf on top of that. I figure I'll get very close to the height of the hitting mat which I believe is just under 2". Assuming I find 1" thick material, what is best suggested? It needs to adhere to the wood, and then also be able to adhere to the turf I lay on top.
Any suggestions, or alternate builds are very much appreciated.
