Im getting ready to purchase a Divot action Mat and I noticed they have a MEVO Plus setup for 699.00 it basically is their normal 4x5 mat with hitting strip only additional is a 9 foot strip off the front for putting and a 8 foot strip off the back for keeping the unit level with the mat. My question is for the extra 280 dollars for those 2 strips is that really worth it? Couldn't I just use gym tiles to level the unit up to the mat I wouldn't even have to put turf on it unless I wanted it to "look good". As far as the putting goes I have a lot of options right?

I have the same question. What did you end up doing?Originally posted by Bflem55 View PostIm getting ready to purchase a Divot action Mat and I noticed they have a MEVO Plus setup for 699.00 it basically is their normal 4x5 mat with hitting strip only additional is a 9 foot strip off the front for putting and a 8 foot strip off the back for keeping the unit level with the mat. Thanks for the replyOriginally posted by Alex.Morgan View PostI did this - used gym tiles to level up the surface (toyed with turfing it but didn't bother in the end), i purchased the insert and cut it into my stance mat but dont think they sell that anymore. I guess for ease of use its done for you if you go for the extension mat.

I'm going to start testing the "level floor" requirement this week. I just (mostly) finished a build with a 5x5 Quattro mat embedded in a floor of 8mm (~3/8") rubber floor tiles. The mat sticks up over the tiles by ~7/8". I just got the enclosure finished and will start testing with the Mevo+ to see what happens if I don't have anything between the Mevo+ and the hitting mat, one extra layer of tiles, or two layers of tiles. I also use this space a gym so I'd prefer not to have an extra layer of tiles in one area if I can avoid it. I'm also not planning on putting w/ the mevo.
