Soft Strike retro-fit

Has anybody put a Soft Strike hitting strip into a Fiberbuilt Studio tray? The length and depth dimensions are just about perfect, but the width is only 10” inches or so. (FB is ~12”)

Wondering about real world solutions and experiences before I drop the $$

Depending upon exact measurements you might be able to drop in a 1x2 cut to the length you need to fill in the space. Maybe paint it to blend in.

Yeah, a lot of options for filler, I just want to know if anybody has actually done it, and if they’re happy with it. 👍🏼
