I have a Fiberbuilt Studio Golf Mat, Center Hitting, 9' x 6'. I use the built in tee for driving, but for irons, I have been hitting off the grass on the hitting strip. I think it affects my elbows. Should I be hitting off the turf I'm standing on? That part seems to give more, and acts very similarly to the mats on the driving range. Thanks for the input.
