    Hello simulator friends ---

    Little help here, please.
Purchased a TrueStike dual hitting mat - premium from Par2Pro. Was in the middle of a house build when product arrived and did not have the chance to validate that all parts were delivered (my bad, but just kind of took for granted, as all other packages I had been receiving to the house were perfect). Put the three boxes in the garage to await the fall/winter simulator build out..
You can imagine my surprise this weekend when I was starting the build and doing the unboxing that the TrueStrike mat was missing THE MOST IMPORTANT part.. 1 X Gel Section (Gel Bag, Strike Surface and Strike Surround) was missing!!
I reached out to Par2Pro with basically receiving a sorry about your luck and a good luck reach out to our deliverer and see what you can do. Jancor delivery all but laughed when I asked if they still might have it (being as though it was delivered at end of May) and now I am stuck with over $1000 useless hitting mat..
That being said -- does anyone on here recommend a different service to use to replace the Gel Section or if I were to reach out to TrueStrike or anything? Really any advice and recommendations would be warranted.

Will your credit card company be able to do anything? I thought some might have insurance to protect against stuff Ike this (assuming it’s within their claim window)?

Unfortunately, I paid with a money transfer. Seeming like I will just have to purchase another gel section piece..

Sorry to hear your frustration. True Strike was one of the most frustrating purchases I've made in golf. I actually hit from one of the "stance" sections since the gel portion essentially shredded to pieces in a few months.

Wow! Sad to hear that, and keeps me away from True Strike... I'm looking at my old standby Fiberbuilt, or DivotAction, or home made with a strip from one of those companies or from GungHoGolf with the HolyGrail mat.

Really?? How did you feel hitting from the "stance" section was for impact and results? Hurt your wrists at all?
Yeah -- not happy with TrueStrike purchase so far or Par2Pro. But they seem to be one of the only providers I can find in Canada.. or pay exorbitant import/duty fees.

        Appreciate all the responses!

It's actually really great for impact and results -- you can still tell when you hit it fat. Still looks like new too. To be honest, I'm waiting to see if it gives me wrist and/or elbow pain, which is what I would expect over time. Planning to get the new Fiberbuilt Player Preferred mat at some point, so this is temporary.

Deuce - player preferred Fiberbuilt? Which one is that - it appears the 'grass' mats come in 7x4, or other extremely large sizes, and I've heard the FIberbuilt Performance mats are not as good as the older 'grass' mats.... Got a link to the Player Preferred and how much does it run?

Fiberbuilt’s Player Preferred Series includes an impressive selection of golf hitting mats that are designed for the more experienced player.
