Fiberbuilt Performance 7' x 4' Single Hitting Mat

I had this mat just over a week... used it four times and I keep hitting behind the ball.

This evening, I studied what was going on and I can tell when I am putting weight on my back foot to transfer to the front, that my back foot is sinking down and to the right. The standing part of the mat is just so soft and squishy, it is not like my old mat or standing outside on the grass.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Wow - that's a bummer I can't say as my Fiberbuilt is just the hitting area built into a ProTee Sensor mat, so I don't stand on Fiberbuilt. Which Fiberbuilt mat do you have, is it a 'Performance Series', or 'Grass Series' or something else?

      Performance series.

I have spare plywood that I can cut to fit in the square and screw my amazon mat to that. I might have to go that route.
