EVA tiles for ceiling?

I'm considering using 3/4 or 1 inch 2x2 EVA tiles on my ceiling. Anyone tried this? Any issues?

I put about 4 of the 3/4 inch thick ones above my screen where a ball would ricochet off the screen and hit occasionally. Used the liquid nails from home depot and they have been up there for about a year now without any issues.

I just did the same thing. I put cardboard up first, then glued the eva foam to the ceiling. I used harbor freight 3/4" mats.
