  • Bubble or unevenness in TrueStrike hitting mat hitting strip?

    Hi all,

    Long-time lurker but new poster.

My uncle passed away late last year and I was given his TrueStrike hitting mat - it's unclear how old it is. It's mostly great, but the hitting strip feels a bit lumpy/uneven and elevated above my feet. There may be a bubble in the gel portion. Does anyone with a TS mat have experience with a similar issue? I mostly ask bc replacing the hitting strip is $450 so I'm curious if this is a common outcome from long-term usage.

    Thanks!

Take the cover off and have a look. The cover is just the "grass" part.

It just unclips. And you can put it back together. Look at the gel area underneath to see if it's lumpy or something.

I might be thinking of switching to a TS setup. How long does the hitting strip last?
