Hitting Strip Placement

Is there a formula to calculate where to place the hitting strip? I am trying to figure best placement for my holy grail. Screen is 15.5’ x 8.5’. 4’ deep. I have plenty of room behind. I have a mevo +. I have read the minimum requirements for hitting strips but I can go back farther. I want to be able to place the mat so all clubs can be used. Any advise?

If you have the room, 8-9 feet is very comfortable while still "immersive" and low risk or "normal shots" flying over the top of the screen. You will see some inside this and few outside but that seems to be the best compromise.
