I’ve had my simulator for about a year and originally went with very cheap grass carpet from Home Depot, laid over a base built from MMA mats. I’m now upgrading to some nice putting turf.
I’ve had some issues with static buildup in the past and now am in a period of a few days between removing the old turf and waiting for the new turf to arrive. The mats are extremely staticy. Putting my hand down near the mats you can feel the static, the hair on my arms stand up.
Anyone else with an MMA mat base experience the same?
I’m wondering if there is anything I can put between the mat and the new turf that can help reduce static buildup?
