  • Birdieball sale for putting turf/landing mat

I’m building my setup now and have decided to use two 4X14 Birdieball putting mats that I’ll seam together (to save a little money vs 8’ width) to serve double duty as turf/flooring in front of the screen and for putting, obviously.

I’ve never used them before so can’t give any feedback to their performance and I have no affiliation with them, but wanted to pass on that they’re offering a 20% off coupon for the masters, “MASTERS20”. They usually do the same off for Black Friday too.

Just a heads up, I bought a birdieball mat and was surprised when I received it and actually felt the material. The closest thing I can describe it as is the foam used for pool noodle floats. If you have it sitting on a hard surface and drop a golf ball on it, it will bounce pretty high, so balls coming back off of an impact screen can go all over. It also isn't very durable. My two year old swing his putter backwards on it and the flange took a chunk out of it.

Ya I heard it’s like a pool noodle, I’m okay with that. Good to know about the bounce back tho.
