How to deal with baseboards?

Question on flooring. I’m going to be putting in one inch eva foam tiles with turf on top of it. How would you advise marrying this up to the room’s baseboard? The baseboard is maybe 1/2 inch off the concrete floor.

For example:

1. Just have both end flush at the baseboard.

2. Have the foam tile cut about an inch or two away from the baseboard and tuck the turf under the baseboard.

3. Raise the baseboard and have both tile and turf tucked underneath.

4. Other?

If moving the baseboard up is too much hassle, I'd put quarter round or shoe moulding over the turf ends where it meets the existing trim.

So long as the height and style permits it, of course.
