Hey guys, need some advice regarding flooring for new garage sim…
Currently I own a professional GSK Hitting box with wood flooring and Teeturf on which is located in a rented room. Just moved into new house and the sim (eyexo) will now move to the garage. I ordered Par2Pro stealth system in custom width of 13’ with 5’ side nets and ceiling protection. Floor is blank concrete. Cars will be parked every day in garage, so I need a simple and fast build up / break down solution. Living in Germany, so no rational way to return anything I order in US – means choice should be made wise…
In the past I already tried CE-Mat (to hard to joints), Fibrebuilt (was so forgiving), TruStrike (nearly same as wood and teeturf in feel and not suitable for everyday break down)
Currently thinking about three mat options and would be very happy four your feedback!
What do you think about the options and my thought?

What to do with the remaining space between matt and impact screen.
Just a cheap / light weight artificial grass to stop bounced balls?
Whats about Putting? Matt and “Landing area” would be different height
For putting with eyexo think no problem regarding tracking, but feels a bit stange when putting over a edge / chasm
Or place a “putting strip” centered to hitting mat in direction to impactscreen with same heigt and the cheap landing grass just on left / right side of it?
What would be suitable for such a strip?

- Swing Turf 9’x4’
- seems to be good balance regarding forgiveness
- Stand and hitting area same material / same dense – good idea? (I mean stand should not be to spongy / unstable
- - is 9’ not so short when hitting from center? Worried about standing next to edge of mat with driver…
- Break down would mean to “roll it up” and carry it as a “cylinder” to side wall of garage
- SIG Pro Softy 10’x4
- Like the idea of different materials / softness of stand and hitting area / strip
- Compression slots / ABS and foam in hitting strip reminds a bit to divot action
- Strip could be easily replaced when worn down
- 3 different strips availibale – less risk to find preferred mat when ordering all 3 inserts
- Hitting strip seems to be a bit higher than stance area (looks a bit DIY)
- 1’ wider – not standing so close to the edge
- Never heard of it before / not many reviews only
- How to break down ? (stow at against wall as one piece or separate the three modules each time? How easy is separation? 3 separate moduls maybe easier to handle (if separated)
- Matt is very high (2,5 inch), what bring me very close to minimum distance between eyexo and hitting surface (ceiling high is about 9,2’)

- “Folds” for break down – think you have to remove the 2 connector foams and then “fold” it – where to store the 2 foams then? How easy is it to remove and insert the connectors every time?
- Also only 9’ wide – standing closer to edge
- They mention on their website: “For climate controlled rooms only“ – is garage ok? Garage is insulated but in winter when not playing golf not heated, so temps will fall to about 5°C / 41 Fahrenheit
What do you think about the options and my thought?
