  • stance mat turf for a Holy Grail Strip

    Hi All

Hoping to get some feedback on my plan.

I am not looking for a putting setup. Just a stance mat turf. I am assuming lenght of the hitting strip will be enough for GC2 to read the put.

I double stacked https://www.harborfreight.com/4-piec...set-94635.html these to create a 1" base layer.

Now for the turf on top of it I was thinking https://www.homedepot.com/p/TrafficM...6CTL/313236789

Issue is the turf is 0.25" and that brings my setup to 1.25". Holy Grail hitting strip is 1.375" so i am about 1/8" short. I feel like I am over engineering it to try to get exact 1.375" so wanted to see what the experts here think .

Any other turf options I should look at?. At I personally like the look of this over the Grizzly.

I did similar and had turf specced at 3/8” and the hitting strip still sits a tiny bit higher. The bottom of the HG has adhesive backed Velcro and a second adhesive Velcro that sticks to the floor. This raises the HG another 1/16” or so. I used the money putt turf that Gung Ho sells. I’m happy with it and it is good quality, but it’s still ever so slightly lower than the hitting strip.

Ya I looked at the money putt turf as well. If I could locally source it then it would be a potenial option.

Keep your rugs in place with our rug pads. Perfect for securing large area rugs on wood floors.

Lot's of different sizes. It's roughly 1/8" thick. I use it under my Holy Grail. to match the height of my stance mat. Might need 2 layers when compressed.
