Fiberbuilt Grass and Player Preferred - Hitting Strips Interchangeable?

Good Morning,

I'm having a tough time deciding between buying the Fiberbuilt Grass Mat or the Player Preferred. Question - If I purchase the Fiberbuilt Grass Mat, could I buy a Players Preferred hitting strip and interchange it with the grass hitting strip? Then I can have both.

I have a 10yo that golf and I think the Grass Mat would be better for him. I think the players preferred would be better for me.

So I looked into this a while back when the players preferred series came out. Unfortunately the strips are not the same size - by quite a bit actually. I have not seen a recent release so I would be most pleased to be corrected but I think you need to decide one over the other.

The strip itself is not the same size, grass is 1’x4’ and player preferred is 2’x4’. So they’re not hot swappable without having to reconfigure the stance mats & base. They do sell the strip but it also comes with the appropriate stance mats, that add a significant cost.
