    Dura-Pro vs Country Club Elite

Has anyone compared the two mats, or are they very, very similar. CCE is a couple hundred more for the size I want (5x10) not sure it is work it.

Just get a insert of country club and make your stance mat. 1 jigsaw, 1 sheet 18mm osb, 16m 2"x1" planed to correct thickness, carpet to cover osb. cut a hole raise the osb and carpet and it's done. £50 plus county club insert.

I agree, get the smaller insert and build your own and save some $$.

A CC elite mat is 1,8 inches thick. You need to have the osb/ carpet combination the same height. If not you end up with the ball being higher then your feet. The other thing is the osb carpet combination may or may not have compressability similar to hitting off real grass.

Levelling up is obvious, you raise it to the correct level by screwing the 1" x 2" (planed to the correct thickness) to the bottom of the osb. As for compression it works for me.
