I have a Carl's enclosure with foam inserts. I have very good bounceback control in the top 2/3 of the screen, but worm burners roll back past me (and out of my garage and down my driveway hill!). There are two "issues:"
So, specifically, I'm not asking for tips on how to reduce bounceback - I think I've done what I can with screen adjustments. But...
Has anyone installed/built a "ramp" that would reflect the worm burners upward so they are more likely to strike the screen higher, and, if so, how did you build it?
Thanks!
- When actually hitting the screen at a pretty low point, it is tight, hence bounce back. There isn't much I can do about that, because the enclosure sides are velcro'd to the side of the screen, so even without any bungees, there is still a degree of tightness.
- When hitting a full-on dribbler that strikes the black area below the screen (and the foam insert), there's either a straight, vast bounceback, or a ricochet effect where the ball bounces up, hits the tight-ish part of the screen, and either hits the top of the enclosure or comes back in a rainbow (toward my projector, or garage door windows behind me).
