Hitting strip caving in, how to fix

I have the HOLY GRAIL HITTING STRIP - 12X30". the strip is starting to bow side to side. Is there a way to prop this back up. I have about 5000 shots on it, is that maybe just the life span of these style hitting strip. The hard plexiglass looking layer has bowed significantly causing the shape issue. It almost looks like it came off a roll, and didn't flatten. I have space on both sides of the strip as requested in the install instructions and its is snug front and back. If I can find my heat gun I am going to see if I can reshape it without destroying it, but any hints to put it in shape or am I just being silly and should buy a new one. Turf is holding up amazing, it still looks great.

You might delaminate the foam to acrylic connection with heat. Mine did the same thing and also delaminated on its own a few months in. This was a warranty replacement which did the same thing previously. I gave up on it recently and replaced it with a bullseye soft strip. Much better.

You could consider a method similar to fiberbuilt which is in essence a pair of angle iron channels down each side of the strip. The hitting strip is attached to the angle iron thus keeping the strip from bending in its longest dimension. It's bending now from the continual impacts towards it's middle which compress the underlayment in the middle and push up the ends. If you do this you will need a method to attach the angle iron to the floor as it will try to bounce every time you hit a shot.

I was disappointed with the durability of my Holy Grail Hitting Strip as well. It came apart, sagged. I reglued the carpet to foam. I also put some packaging foam filler in the air cavities to help fill the center. It is giving it more life.

Cant find my heat gun, so ordering a new one. When it gets here. I will disassemble the foam pieces and see if I can adjust it. Ordered a bullseye as well, at least I can compare them if I can get this one fixed.

Been hitting on the bullseye for a week or two now. It is more punishing of thick shots, a little more impact on the wrist, holds a real tee great and seems super durable and nice. Definity feel miss hits more and it takes more off those shots then the gungho did. I think fairway wood play is much better of this matt, seeing much better results on those hits. Having to get used to tracking down the tees though, that's annoying!
