Bullseye hitting strips, anyone compare?

I'm looking for a new hitting strip and read good things about bullseye.
I saw 3 different ones on their website and was curious if anyone has experience with them?
There's the "original" with 5/8" foam.
"New, soft" one with 1/2" foam. (Not sure why this is softer with less foam)
And a 3D cushion strip.

Feel is definitely important for the joints. I don't care if it takes a tee or not. I don't use real tees in the sim.

Any recommendations?

I have tried the original and the new soft strike. I prefer the soft strike. It’s 1/2 rubber base not foam

Oh, thanks. I missed the rubber vs foam. I saw the size difference, but didn't pay attention to the material. Oops!
the Soft seems to be the one, due to feel and it's not that bright green color.
They have them on sale, so I think I'll go that route.

I thought my diy mat would be fine, but boy was I wrong! It's fine to stand on, but I've got to get a proper hitting area.

I have the original and soft. The soft is slightly less thick and softer for sure. I will be getting the 3 D strip next week so will post a comparison of all 3.

I’ve had a chance to play with the 3D Bullseye hitting strip. It feels great. It is more firm than the soft and has no grab of the club at all. It feels great sphenoid you hit it solid. It has real short turf height and will not take a tee. The rubber and 3D nylon backing with the turf is nice. It is nice to putt as well.

All 3 strips are nice.

The original strip is thicker but has a medium softness. It grabs more than the 3d.

The Soft is nice and soft and easy to hit from. It grabs more than the 3D.

The 3D is more firm and higher bounce with fat shots. Least amount of grab.

They all feel great and are easy on the joints. My plan is to rotate them every few weeks for a different feel.

Bubba22 - I have the original - if I were to add another to get some variety - would you suggest the soft or 3D version? I am leaning towards the 3D but curious as to your thoughts.

Great question jasonreg. It depends on the individual. I think if you want it softer I would say get the soft version. It is a bit grabby like the original but very flexible and soft. If you want it firm and more bounce then the 3D is better. The 3D doesn’t grab at all. It may be too firm for some folks but probably depends on your swing steepness and wedge bounce. I personally like all three but if I just had the original then I would get the 3D as a second strip. Again that’s personal preference so ymmv.

I ordered the Soft, so we'll see how that works out. Hitting off of my diy mat, I was surprised how often I hit the ball fat. Really got to work on that!

My main issue in golf now is making fat contact behind the ball, working on striking ball first, then ground. My current hitting surface doesn’t give my fat shot feedback. Which strip is best at giving this feedback (of course without wrist/elbow damage)?

I have had the Soft Strike hitting strip for a few months now. Good price and very good feel unless you get really steep, then you will feel it. Really good for chipping also. It does leave a film on your clubs but cleans up easily. It also seems to be wearing fairly quickly. I could see having to replace it annually but at its current price that's not a big concern.

The only hitting mat I found that I liked better is the Sigpro Softy. It has a slightly better feel but it is an odd size and height so it doesn't fit into my setup.

Been using the Soft every day since I got it. It's a nice hunter green color and feels fine. I don't know if I would call it "soft" but it's totally fine to hit off of. I still get left wrist pain, but I've been using it a lot! It's holding up ok and hope it last a least a year or more. I only get the "film on the clubs" when using my lob wedge. Night just be the types of irons I'm using. It's very comfortable to chip off of too. I use birtee tees with it instead of real tees.
turf is quite dense too.

Anyone have any coupons for Bullseye Golf? Was just about to pull the trigger on a 3D hitting matt drop in and saw the coupon box but have not seen any myself.
