    Thoughts Before Installing Hitting Strip???

Hey All. I'm finally ready to cut in my hitting strip and install my holy grail strip. I'm using foam tiles and then on top, one piece of turf covering my whole room.

I'm using a BLP and have a good idea where I need to cut to install, but just wanted to check with others who have already done this, because if I'm forgetting something or overlooking something, I'm going to be screwed. Any thoughts or things to consider first before I cut??? Thanks!

Just make sure your heights are lined up. I have foam tiles with padded batting cage turf on top. For my Holy Grail to sit flush I had the hole cut through the turf and tiles so the hitting strip is mounted to the concrete floor.

Holy grail needs a little space around the sides to flex and spring back unlike solid turf type mats. I cut mine down slightly to allow space at the sides so that if I ever replaced it with another type the replacement would fit snuggly.

Swing drivers and wedges and make sure you are good with the position before cutting it in.

Unless I am missing something you can always move the BLP around if the hitting position is slightly off. No reason to cut your BLP into the carpet.
