Not sure where to post this, perhaps there's a thread here or forum elsewhere more specific to my type of project... I'm installing a synthetic outdoor putting green about 30' x 10'. I'm having the local Southwest Greens guy build it. I'm more interested in a putting green optimized for quality practice than one that is primarily for esthetic appeal. I don't need dramatic contours, etc. I am an Aim Point user, so it would be nice to have sections of 1, 2, 3, and 4 percent grade. How many holes can you have on a 300 sq. ft. green before they get in the way? Holes near edges? Are there any forums devoted to this sort of thing? Any other advice?
