    HELP!! Fiberbuilt injury

has anyone “doctored” a fiberbuilt grass series studio golf mat?

I’m obviously steep with irons and injured my wrist hitting off my grass series fiberbuilt mat. I reached out to them with pictures of my set up and it was installed correctly. I’m taking two months or more off to let my current sprain heal. I am changing jobs which will limit my outdoor practice time dramatically so would love to be able to practice at home indoors without getting injured. I will work on shallowing this thing out but was curious if anyone has tried making their mat more forgiving?

I’d really like to not spend another $1000 + on a new mat set up.

    any advice would be appreciated

Can cut out an area like 12"x36" and insert a hitting strip. Lots of options. I'm trying my third. They wear out and they have strengths and weaknesses, but easy way to change it up.
