We have to make sure our 1 3/4 inch 5x10 foot hitting mat is PERFECTLTY flush with the surrounding turf and was wondering if anyone has used compressed limestone aggregate as the base on top of poured concrete. This can be compressed with a tamper and wetted and then a 1 3/4 heavy padded hitting pad on top. Any thoughts on this. Or even a thin aggregate with plywood - main objective is to be stable but also to make sure it is flush, flush, flush with surrounding turf. We are installing 6 indoor sims at Cosmic.Golf in KY
Anyone used 1/4 compressed limestone aggregate based under 1 3/4 foam hitting mat?
