  • Sturdy, non-slip portable hitting mat

I was hoping to get some expert advice on a hitting mat. I currently have a skytrak setup that due to space constraints I have to set up and take down whenever I use it. I have a Rukket SPDR net that takes 5 minutes to put up and it works well in the area, but I'm struggling with what hitting mat to use. The space is carpeted so I need something that will be relatively stable on the carpet. But to make it more challenging, it would ideally be a hitting strip that is weighted to make it stable when hitting on top of carpet. I already have a 4 x 5' CCE mat which I like, but is very much a pain to roll up every time I use it and storing it takes up a ton of space. I was considering a true strike portable mat which weighs 32 lbs (so hopefully it would be stable) and the dimensions would make it easy to slide under the couch when not in use. Are there any other mats on the market that are similar to this that have a quality hitting surface and a weighted base to prevent it from sliding around?

    Thanks in advance!
