CCE mats combo mat vs single size

I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of the combo Country club elite mat. I love the flexibility it provides and the ease of storage. I was wondering how much a combo mat would move during play (I have a skytrak) . It will be placed on a heavy carpet. Currently I have a 4x4 mat which moves around after 15 or so shots and needs to be put back in place.
Can I expect similar results with a combo mat or would it be significantly worse ? Any other con of a combo mat ?

Many options to secure a mat in place and still be temporary.

Velcro, put hole in floor and drop bolt it in that's attached to mat, put high friction material on bottom of matt...

Also, if you go dual stance mat...mine is collecting dust in my basement...let me know.
