I see that some people are getting cheap prices from Synlawn for end of the roll stuff. Is there a specific type of lawn that is best of theirs to use as a hitting mat?? Also any reason not to just buy one of their practice mats that are 5' x 5'? Anyone have any experience upon which mat of theirs is best for hitting off of for feel and comfort. Looking for a Matt that feels good and have some give in it as I have heard alot of people complain about the elbow and wrist pain from hitting on some mats.

i use the pitch strike and the tee strike here is a link if you want to just order but the best value is to get a remnant from them as you paying 10.00 a square foot the other way

Ok well the guy near me only has a 20" x 4ft piece of the tee strike so I would then have to get a mat that I would stand on that would match the one inch thickness of the tee strike.
The only other option is going he has larger pieces of the putting green which he says would work but I have no idea on the amount of give that would have.
Anyone familiar with the forgiveness of the syngrass putting green mat? Is it as good as the tee strike?
Thanks

Fixing to go to the synlawn dealer in Dallas, any tips on getting a good deal on remnants? I called and they said they could do 4.00/sq ft which isn't much of a savings apparently since it's usually 4.50? I know Aero said not to call and to go in person, is there some magic word when you show up in person for a good deal?

I need a mat that will be easer to hit off of that will be a little forgiving on miss hits. will use gel pad or form under hitting section. ? How will mat from synlawn golf portable fairway mat 4 x 4 price $124.99 work and how will it hold up. If it is easy to hit off of that will work because can make 4 1ft x 4ft strips from mat so would last for a lot hits. I am set up now to use 1 x 4 strip.
