what is the best way to set up the true strike and gc2? it seems like I'm going to have to move it alot to use the gc2 with a driver on the non gel section and irons on the gel section....

the gc2 has a ball detection area of approximately 6" x 6". my brother does it this way as well as a few others on the forum. locate the tee holder as far back as possible and hit irons a few inches in front of it. i hit off of a fiberbuilt strip which is not good for putting so i have a strip of thin carpet a little closer to me that i putt off of. as long as the 3 places you hit from are within the 6x6 detection area, you don't have to move the gc2.

i have the whole "single" mat system. would it be smartest to just put the 3 regular mats in a row and then the gel section or keep it arranged how it is supposed to be? and its ok to hit the driver and 3 woods off the gel section? I have the tomahawk tees which sit on the turf nicely and have used with my old mat so I could cont the same thing with this mat. otherwise not sure how anyone would use a gc2 and hit off both sections of the gel section and further non gel section without moving it

Why not use those tees they have on the golf channel that look like a birds nest?My Courses:
