Projector recommendation

i am purchasing TGC for the SkyTrak. My ceiling mount is 13-14 ft from the screen. I want to purchase an HD projector. What would you recommend. Obviously want the best resolution but realize I won't fill the entire screen which is 10 ft wide 11 ft high.

Just found a projector that will work at my throw distance of 13 ft BenQ MU676. 16:10 WUXGA. Will TGC support this resolution?

Are you thinking the MW632ST ????? I looked for MU676 but can't find it. I did find MU686 but it will mount a ways away from your screen. Might show a shadow.

Pretty sure that TGC can handle (any) resolution you can throw at it. I'm in the process of upgrading my computer graphics card to play in full 4k off of my tv. From what I've read this would be $$$ to do on a projector setup. That's not really my goal for now so trying to maximize what I have. If you want real numbers of TGC capabilities just let me know. I can accommodate.

Gary. I am purchasing a laptop to run TGC. Would a GTX 1060 be adequate or would you go with GTX 1070 graphics card?

I can't say Kevin. Wish I could. I have a buddy that is more qualified working on it now. I can tell you recommendation when we get there, but that will be only based on my setup.

I have an 11 ft ceiling Current projector is not an issue. I am only 5'7. Son in law is over 6 ft and is not a problem either.

I have about 8 months to find the right Projector. I don't mind spending a little more for better quality.
This projector seems to be perfect for us in the golf simulator world other than price.
