Perfect location vs projector from the side?

Hi folks, had any body use their projector from the side? I'm debating if is worth the trouble to install off the ceiling, my garage ceiling is 22ft height. I can't find a kit that has an extension of 12 ft.

is the picture quality make that much difference projecting form from the center vs from the side?

anybody have ideas how to install the projector 12ft from the ceiling?

you could floor mount it instead of side mounting. you lose some picture quality whenever you have to do keystone adjustment.

Floor mount? Is that risk of breaking from the club or the ball bounce back? because I don't have a sub floor.

The ones I've seen have a ramp in front of the projector. Not sure about bounce back though.

Probably out of budget but in your situation I'd put a floor in and move the whole simulator upstairs - total freedom for a custom simulator room, especially if you're sharing the garage with cars.
