Looking to get advice and suggestions on projector for my garage golf sim.
Current setup.
Screen is 10x10
Roof is 10.5
Screen to back wall is 16 feet
Current projector old Panasonic pt ae 3000 on back wall.
Garage gets very hot in day.... corrugated iron roof and 35 degrees sun!!
I am ideally looking to fill as much of the screen as possible; and which gives the most immersive experience. Thinking that 4:3 would be best.??
I note the Optoma and Benq tend to be mentioned a lot on the forum... both I believe are short throw..... I wouldn't trust myself with a floor one, but can see fixing one above my head to be possible.
Couple of times my old projector has overheated.... and worries that projector up by the corrugated roof will be asking for trouble.... not sure if there is anyway to insulate / protect? .... or maybe even remove after each use... but I'm sure that would become a pain ( already take laptop in and out each time)
