If anyone is looking for a short throw projector option that is cheaper than the Optoma or BenQ, check out the NEC NP610S - they're all over eBay for $1-200. It won't work for everyone, but it's perfect for my needs. The XGA native resolution is plenty for a basic simulator setup that is NOT also being used as a home theatre. If your screen is really large and you have ambient light in the room, the 2600 lumens may not be enough. With that being said, check it out if you are trying to squeeze a simulator into a small dark space on a budget. I just received a refurbished one with a new bulb and am very happy with it.
