4k Laser Ultra Short Throw Projector

I just saw this online and thought I would pass it along. I'm not sure how well an ultra short throw would work for a simulator, but a 130" screen from 9 inches away ins crazy! And while $4800 is still a lot of money, a laser 4k projector for that price was unheard of just a couple years ago.

That is a rear projector. Generally rear projectors only work if they are hung a few feet higher than the screen. So if your screen goes almost to your ceiling, it probably won’t work.

I think we are likely still too early for an appropriate 4K projector that would work for golf sims. Most 4ks are designed for a home theatre environment. I would save your money and wait a year or two longer and then enjoy a great bright unit for a great price. For now enjoy the HD image as it still looks great!
