Panasonic PT-VZ 580 Or PT-VZ 580U....... ???

Is there a difference ??? I've seen both codes are they the same projector just one replacing the other.

This projector got a lot of positive reviews in another thread. Are all reviews still good on it ???

Dont know the difference? It could be the U is for US ? My box says PT-VZ580E (Europe)
Still very happy with mine.

Snaphook, can I please get a little more detail on your setup ? I'd like to know how large your screen is, what type and what size. Also, what type of room lighting are you using any special concerns ? I have a BenQ MW632ST now with a universal mount, will I need anything special to mount it? I have 10 foot ceilings can I mount flush with the ceiling?

My image is about 160" 16:10 11 x7 ft . Using a dbgolf screen 1st gen. I do have some black fabric backing (leftover from when i used archery netting) Don't know if it makes any difference, but can't hurt.
PJ mounted 12.5-13 ft from screen . Stand 9-10 ft from screen when playing.
I am using a universal mount at a height of 9'7" so i think you can just go ahead and mount it flush with your ceiling (you will have to do some corner adjusting from the pj meny). My room lighting is standard chinese led tubes.

No difference, the U is the European/England designation.
