Help finding a projector?

Need a cheap (< $250) projector that will allow me to project a 9-10ft wide screen in 4:3 from a distance of about <12 ft. Its a halfway dark room in basement but has 2 windows. Not real picky about most details except want good brightness. I cant make sense of all these specs on these things. Just needs to be good enough for driving range on skytrak. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Biggest thing im trying to figure out is, is there a cheaper non short throw unit that could do maybe 8 to 10 ft wide 4:3 from about 12 ft away? I stand about 10 ft from screen. afraid any further back with projector would result in shadow. 9 ft ceiling height. I havent bought a screen yet so width is flexible.
