    Projector HELP

I just did a full re build on my garage sim. I mounted my Optoma gt1080 short throw to the ceiling with the screen size fitting for skytrak using ipad. Now that I hooked up my Asus gaming computer to run TGC the screen is huge!! It fit perfectly with ipad but now it's way off. I've tried the aspect ratio but even with the smallest one it's still way over the edges.

Is there away on the computer to make the screen smaller?

Sorry to hear it doesn't fit, sounds frustrating !! I don't think the Optoma has any way to change the screen size other then moving the projector.

Might want to take a look at the projector central site and see how far away from the screen to mount the projector to get the image size your looking for.

I'm sure that's not what you want to hear and someone else will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that's your only option.

Use test patterns built into projector to mount. iPad doesn’t use full pixels of the pj

They are pain to mount and get aligned correctly since they have no real image adjustment but keystone. That optima has about a 13-15" offset from lens to top of image, meaning you can mount the projector roughly 13-15" above image without using any keystone adjustment. From Projector Central you will have 14" offset and approx 6'8 from screen.
