Best budget projector

Hi,

ive a very limited budget so am looking at both new and second hand projectors.

ive a 10’w x 8’h screen and the projection distance will be around 10ft (but could be a fraction more or less if required)

i was was just wondering if anyone has found a projector new or secondhand for around £200 ($250), if not less.

Does such a thing exist?

You can find some second hand ones on eBay for well under that price. You probably won’t find a 1080p one though. With your screen being more square than widescreen format, a 1024x768 one will look decent and cost way less because people want widescreen these days instead of 4x3. If you search eBay for “Benq ST” and filter by that resolution you should find quite a few short throw ones that would work. Just read the description and make sure it doesn’t have too many hours on the bulb.
