I'm in the middle of a large sim build and will be going with a screen that is 16ft in width and 9ft in height. I was wanting to know if a 1080p image would look ok at this size or would 4k be a necessity. Thanks

It will look ok. Mine is 15 x 8.5. The problem will be brightness. The larger the image the less bright it will be. Need a high lumen projector and light controlled room. -
1080p is fine or even wuxga 1920x1200, image quality will depend on lumens and what light you have in the room.
mine is 4m x 2.25m and is fine at 3200lumens, but would prefer a 5000 lumen projector.Comment
