Optoma W303ST or W305ST model

Is anyone familiar with this projector?

I’m using Skytrak, running e6 1.6 and looking at a Carl’s set up in 4:3. (8ft h x 10.5 ft w)

I don’t need 4K or 1080p HD, something equivalent to a 720p, 1080i is just fine for me.

Any views or feedback helpful.

I pulled the trigger on the W305ST, dirt cheap.
Will update with some feedback.

W305ST is an excellent budget projector for golf if you can find it. Projects brightly with a short throw ratio, the drawback for some would be resolution at 1080i, 720p. I’m displaying at 4:3 8x10.5 on a Carl’s Preferred, basement setup.



It has a keystone and you can move the image to fit the screen. Highly recommend for sim golfing, can be had for $300 (maybe less) on eBay with some patience.
