  • Those familiar w/ ProjectorCentral.com "Projector Database"... plz help?

Hey guys, I am still trying to narrow down my projector options. I have put in as much info as possible in the projectorcentral.com "Projector Database" and there is one metric I don't understand and that is the part of the "Projector Database" that allows you to put in throw distance. I find the attached screenshots of the site to be very confusing. It appears I should be able to enter a range of feet that I can mount my projector but it does not allow for two entries (for example 8' to 10'. What am I missing here?

Here is a link to the calculator: https://www.projectorcentral.com/projectors.cfm

I think it's almost a little backwards. Put in your screen size, then figure out your throw range. From there you can calculate the min/max throw ratio's. If you have a screen that's 12' wide and you can be 8-10' back then your min max would be 0.67-0.83 (8/12 - 10/12). Or pick a throw distance and work from there. If it's 16' throw and you want 16' wide screen use 1.0 to 1.0
